A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in

various parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-12-2 of the Code relating to Prohibited U-Turn is amended by adding the following:

On North Sherman Boulevard at West Stark Street from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM northbound and southbound

On North Sherman Boulevard at West Fairmount Avenue from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM northbound and southbound

On North Sherman Boulevard at West Lancaster Avenue from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM northbound and southbound

On North Sherman Boulevard at West Eggert Place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM northbound and southbound

On North Sherman Boulevard at the median opening south of West Fairmount Avenue from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM northbound and southbound

On North Sherman Boulevard at the median opening south of West Villard Avenue from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM northbound and southbound

Part 2. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:

"On West Meinecke Avenue at North 59^th Street"

Part 3. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by striking the following:

"On North 1^st Street at West Auer Avenue"

"On West Melvina Street at North 23^rd Street"

Part 4. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:

On North 54^th Street at West Nash Street

On East/West Auer Avenue at North 1^st Street in all directions

On West Melvina Street and North 23^rd Street in all directions

On West Meinecke Avenue and North 59^th Street in all directions

On South Logan Avenue and East Montana Street in all directions

On North Achilles Street at East Auer Avenue in all directions

On East Chambers Street at North Richards Street in all directions

On West Ring Street at North 12^th Street in all directions

Part 5.  Section 101-21.5-1 of the Code relating to Designation of Bicycle Lane is amended by adding the following:

On West Center Street from North 76^th Street to North 91^st Street

On North 40^th Street from West Lisbon Avenue to West Vliet Street

On North Water Street from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Pleasant Street

Part 6.  Section 101-22-1 of the Code relating to One Way Alleys is amended by adding the following

In the alley bounded by West Grant Street, West Lincoln Avenue, South 5^th Street and South 5^th Place Eastbound
