Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
3rd Aldermanic District
Sewer Easement - E. Kenwood Blvd. 770’ +/- east of N. Lake Dr. to E. Hampshire St. 735’ +/- east of N. Lake Dr. (SM495210040) File Number: 210701 Relaying Sanitary and Storm Sewers. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $124,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $136,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.
E. Locust St. - N. Humboldt Ave. to N. Dousman St. (WT410220716) File Number 210701: Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $0).
(Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $100,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $115,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
N. Summit Ave. - E. Hartford Ave. to 201’ north of E. Hartford Ave. (SM495200061) File Number 201139: Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $60,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $72,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
