Minutes note: Fernando Aniban, HACM’s Chief Financial Officer, gave a summary from the attachments provided with the agenda and mentioned that items 10 through 13 are for Westlawn Renaissance VII, Building 3.4. The financing for Westlawn Renaissance VII has not been finalized, however the Guaranteed Maximum Price for Building 3.4 is done. The bids for the rest of Westlawn Renaissance VII, which includes 31 new townhouses, are out and staff expects them by the end of February 2022 and to close the financing by the end of May 2022. Body

WHEREAS, Travaux Inc. solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 58053 during the period November 10, 2021 through December 1, 2021 for Mechanical for Building 3.4 (Westlawn Renaissance VII) at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and

 

WHEREAS, three sealed bid were received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CST) on December 1, 2021; and

 

WHEREAS, the sealed bids were received and publicly opened on December 1, 2021, during which the bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and

 

WHEREAS, Action Heating and Cooling, a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $351,975.00; therefore, be it,

 

RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. that it hereby authorizes and approves accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with Action Heating and Cooling for Mechanical for Building 3.4 (Westlawn Renaissance VII) at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from Westlawn Renaissance VII Mixed Financing; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of Travaux Inc.; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed, the officers of Travaux Inc. may approve such request without any further action of the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc.; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if it is determined that such approval is required; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed relative to this matter by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. and the officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
