Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West St. Paul Avenue from the west curb line of North 19th Street to a point 150 feet west thereof at any time"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of South 16th Street from the south curb line of West Cleveland Avenue to a point 43 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the east side of South 20th Street from a point 160 feet south of the south lot line of 2850 South 20th Street to a point 250 feet north of the south lot line of 2850 South 20th Street at any time"
"On the east side of North Teutonia Avenue from West Roosevelt Drive to a point 50 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the north side of East and West Wright Street from North Holton Street to West Fond du Lac Avenue from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday and where No Parking is in effect"
"On North 2nd Street for a distance of 30 feet in front of 2661"
"On the east side of South 16th Street from West Greenfield Avenue to West Pierce Street from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 8th Street from West Manitoba Street to a point 45 feet south at any time
On the west side of South 8th Street from West Manitoba Street to a point 45 feet north at any time
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 2nd Lane between West Vienna Avenue and West Nash Street except Saturday"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East North Avenue from North Humboldt Avenue to North Commerce Street
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of South 2nd Street from a point 80 feet south of North Plankinton Avenue Bridge to West Greenfield Avenue from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM"
Part 7. Section 101-23-8 of the Code relating to Taxi Stands is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 5th Street from a point 130 feet north of the north curb line of West St. Paul Avenue to a point 50 feet north thereof"
Part 8. Section 101-23-11 of the Code relating to No Parking Trucks 3 Tons or Over is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Appleton Avenue from North 99th Street to West Carmen Avenue
Part 9. Section 101-26.5-1 of the Code relating to No Parking When Snowfall 2 Inches Or More is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Booth Street from East Chambers Street to East Keefe Avenue
Part 10. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On South 6th Street from West Burnham Street to West Rogers Street
On South 9th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Hayes Avenue
On South 15th Street from West Washington Street to West Scott Street
On South 26th Street from West Burnham Street to West Rogers Street
On West Orchard Street from South 11th Street to South 14th Street
On South Pearl Street from West Bow Street to West Arrow Street
On West Walker Street from South 9th Street to South 10th Street
