This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute a Sewer Easement Release, Water Easement Release and Quit Claim Deed.
BODY:
Whereas, In June, 1988, the City of Milwaukee was granted sewer and water easements located in South 16th Street (Extended) from West Pittsburgh Avenue to 520'± South of West Pittsburgh Avenue, having the Tax Key Numbers 426-0071-110 and 426-9940-100; and
Whereas, The owner has deposited $25,109 for the cost of abandoning the water main and relocating a fire hydrant outside the limits of the easement area; and
Whereas, There is no remaining useful life for the combined sewer in said easement, and it can be conveyed to the owner; and
Whereas, The City can release said sewer and water easements, with the sewers therein conveyed to the owner and the water main abandoned and the fire hydrant relocated outside of the limits of the easement; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute Sewer Easement Release SER-2472, Water Easement Release WER-643 and sewer conveyance, a copy of which is attached to the Common Council Resolution File Number 990323 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it
Further Resolved, That after said Sewer Easement Release, Water Easement Release and sewer conveyance document has been executed by the proper City officers, it shall be forwarded to the office of the City Attorney for approval as to execution and then to the office of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
