Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various
parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of South Water Street from the north center line of East National Avenue to a point 65 feet north of the north center line of East National Avenue at any time"
"On the north side of West Lincoln Avenue between West Windlake Avenue and the alley west thereof at any time"
"On the south side of East Ohio Avenue from South Whitnall Avenue east to the north/south alley at any time"
"On the south side of West State Street from North 29th Street to a point 95 feet east"
"On the east side of North 17th Street from West St. Paul Avenue south to driveway from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM"
"On South 20th Street between West Mitchell Street and South Muskego Avenue at any time"
"On the west side of South 21st Place from a point 60 feet north of the north center line of West Lincoln Avenue to a point approximately 60 feet further north thereof at any time"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of East Bay Street from a point 120 feet east of South Aldrich Street to a point 20 feet east thereof
On the east side of South Cesar E. Chavez Drive from West Greenfield Avenue to West Orchard Street
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 36th Street from West Stevenson Street to the right of way of T.M.E.R. & L. Co."
"On the east side of North 36th Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Michigan Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
"On the west side of North 41st Street from West Mt. Vernon Avenue south to the end of the street"
"On the east side of South 13th Street from West Burnham to West Rogers Streets from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
"On South 4th Street from West Scott Street to West Washington Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the north side of West Highland Avenue from North 5th Street to North 9th Street from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturdays"
"On the south side of West State Street from North 6th Street to North 7th Street from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturdays"
"On the east side of North Milwaukee Street from East Menomonee Street to East Corcoran Avenue on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East Menomonee Street from North Milwaukee Street to North Jefferson Street
On North Jefferson Street from East Menomonee Street to East Corcoran Avenue
On the south side of West Winnebago Avenue from North 8th Street to North 6th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays
On the north side of West Highland Avenue from North 6th Street to North 9th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays
On the south side of West State Street from North 6th Street to North James Lovell Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays
On North 8th Street from West State Street to West Highland Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays
On the east side of North Milwaukee Street from East Menomonee Street to East Corcoran Avenue
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On South 5th Street from West Virginia Street to West Bruce Street"
"On South 5th Street from West National Avenue to West Mineral Street"
"On the west side of South 6th Street from a point approximately 110 feet north of the north center line of West Scott Street to West Washington Street"
"On West Mineral Street between South 14th and South 15th Streets"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-h of the Code relating to Ten Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On East Menomonee Street from North Milwaukee Street to North Jefferson Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
