Substitute resolution granting the City of Glendale permission to connect to a City of Milwaukee sanitary sewer and water main located in West Custer Avenue between North 13th Street and North 15th Street.
ANLS:
- Analysis - This substitute resolution grants permission to a City of Glendale proposed housing development (100 housing units) to be connected to the City of Milwaukee sanitary sewer and water facilities in West Custer Avenue between North 13th Street and North 15th Street.
BODY:
Whereas, On December 8, 1997, the Common Council of the City of Glendale adopted a Resolution requesting from the City of Milwaukee to connect a proposed development located at the north side of West Custer Avenue between North 13th and North 15th Streets to the City of Milwaukee sanitary sewer and water facilities in said West Custer Avenue; and
Whereas, There is an existing 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer in the south side of West Cus-ter Avenue adjacent to said proposed development; said 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer is hydraulically adequate to serve Phase 1 of the proposed development (100 housing units only); and
Whereas, There is an existing 8-inch diameter water main in the south side of West Custer Avenue that has an existing lateral connection to serve the proposed Phase 1 of the development; and
Whereas, The limits of Phase 1 of the proposed development in West Custer Avenue extend from North 13th Street to a point 470'± west of the west line of North 13th Street; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the City of Glendale is hereby given permission to connect the proposed Phase 1 of the development to the City of Milwaukee 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer and 8-inch diameter water main facilities located in the south side of West Custer Avenue; and, be it
Further Resolved, That a suburban sanitary sewer connection fee be paid to the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $16,450, said fee is based on 470 feet of frontage of Phase 1 of the proposed development at the 1998 rate of $35 per lineal foot; and, be it
Further Resolved, That a suburban water main connection fee be paid to the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $35,250, said fee is based on 470 feet of frontage of Phase 1 of the proposed development at the 1998 rate of $75 per lineal foot; and, be it
Further Resolved, That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the City of Glendale.
