Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various

parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:

“On the north side of East Montana Street from South Taylor Avenue to South Lenox Street on school days from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM”

“On the west side of South Lenox Street from East Russell Avenue to East Montana Street on school days from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM”

Part 2.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Wells Street from North 9^th Street to North 10^th Street from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North 8^th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North Old World Third Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 4^th Street to North 8^th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

Part 3.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On W. Wisconsin Avenue from N. Plankinton Avenue to N. 8^th Street from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”

Part 4.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the south side of West Keefe Avenue from North 100^th Street to a point 247 feet west

On the south side of West State Street from a point 180 feet east of North 54^th Street to a point 40 feet east thereof

On the north side of East Oklahoma Avenue from South Logan Avenue to a point 50 feet west

On the south side of East Oklahoma Avenue from South Logan Avenue to a point 50 feet east

On the west side of North 40^th Street from West Vliet Street to a point 60 feet south

On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North 8^th Street from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday

On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North Old World Third Street from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday

On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 4^th Street to North 8^th Street from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday

Part 5.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Wells Street from North 9^th Street to North 10^th Street from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North 8^th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North Old World Third Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 4^th Street to North 8^th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

Part 6.  Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:

Part 7.  Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On West Wisconsin Avenue from N. Plankinton Avenue to North 8^th Street from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday
