Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 5th Street from the north curb line of West Wells Street to a point 47 feet north thereof at any time"
"In front of the main entrance of the premises at 1515 West Wisconsin Avenue for a distance of 35 feet at any time"
"On the east side of North 20th Street from West Center Street to West Hopkins Street"
"On the east side of North 32nd Street from a point 200 feet south of the south curb line of West Center Street to a point 275 feet south of the south curb line of West Center Street at any time"
"On the south side of West State Street from a point 110 feet west of the west curb line extended of North 50th Place to a point 40 feet west thereof from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the north side of West Wells Street from the east curb line of North 47th Street to a point 75 feet east thereof at any time"
Part 2. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Michigan Street from North 7th Street to North 8th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday"
"On the west side of North 7th Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday"
"On the south side of West Wells Street from North 6th Street to North 9th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday"
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Capitol Drive from North 80th Street to North 81st Street
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 9th Street from West Clybourn Street to West Michigan Street from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
"On North 22nd Street from West Fond du Lac Avenue to West Meinecke Avenue"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Michigan Street from North James Lovell Street to North 8th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the west side of North James Lovell Street from West Michigan Street to West Wisconsin Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of West Wells Street from North 6th Street to North James Lovell Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of West Wells Street from North 8th Street to North 9th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 35th Street from West Park Hill Avenue south to the end of the viaduct"
Part 7. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On South 6th Street from West Rogers Street to West Becher Street
On South 15th Street from West Becher Street to West Lincoln Avenue
On South 21st Street from West Scott Street to West Greenfield Avenue
On West Lapham Street from South 23rd Street to South 24th Street
On South Shore Drive from West Ontario Street to East Russell Avenue
Part 8. Section 101-32-3-c-4 of the Code relating to One Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Michigan Street from North 7th Street to North 8th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
"On the west side of North 7th Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
"On the south side of West Wells Street from North 6th Street to North 9th Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
Part 9. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
