Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the zoning for portions of the Riverworks Industrial Center to permit commercial and office uses in addition to light industrial uses and removes a few existing heavy industrial properties previously proposed to be included in the zoning change area.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-801(2).0003. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area described and bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way along North Palmer Street, a line 182 feet North and parallel to the north line of East Abert Place, a line 119 feet East and parallel to the east line of North Palmer Street and a line 30 feet North of the south line of vacated East Melvina Street, from Industrial Heavy (IH) to Local Business (LB2).
