Title

Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2005 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:

Local #494, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 21 of ordinance File Number 040458 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2003 -  December 22, 2002):

Under Pay Range 858 delete the rates of pay and substitute therefor the following:

Pay Range 858

Official Bi-Weekly Rates

$1,249.52                     $1,280.87                     $1,337.69                     $1,397.91                     $1,460.81                                          $1,543.20

$1,605.47                     $1,667.43

Part 2. Section 21 of ordinance File Number 040458 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2004  - December 21, 2003):

Under Pay Range 858 delete the rates of pay and substitute therefor the following:

Part 3. Section 21 of ordinance File Number 040458 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2005  - December 19,2004):

Under Pay Range 858 delete the rates of pay and substitute therefor the following:

Part 4.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 5.  The provisions of Part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2003 (December 22, 2002).

The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2004 (December 21, 2003).

The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2005 (December 19, 2004).

Part 6.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
