Title
Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Local Business and Multi-Family Residential to Two-Family Residential and Residential and Office, on land generally located along West State Street between North 14th Street and North 20th Street, in the 4th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance was initiated by the Department of City Development to reflect the residential character of the area.

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-501.2(c).0008. The zoning map is amended for the areas bounded and described as follows:
The zoning line within West State Street, the zoning line within North 14th Street, a line 115 feet North and parallel to the north line of West State Street and a line 156 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 15th Street, from Local Business (LB2) to Two-Family Residential (RT4);
and,
The zoning line within North 15th Street, the zoning line within the East-West alleys in the blocks bounded by West Highland Avenue, West State Street, North 15th Street and North 20th Street, the zoning line within North 20th Street, the zoning line within West State Street, the zoning line within North 18th Street, the zoning line within the East-West alley in the block bounded by West Kilbourn Avenue, West State Street, North 17th Street and North 18th Street, the zoning line within North Renee Street, the extended southeast line of Lots 14 and 15 in Block 17 in the Wells Addition, the centerline of North 16th Street, a line 156 feet South of the south line of West State Street, a line 164 feet West and parallel to the west line of North 15th Street, a line 157.5 feet West and parallel to the west line of North 15th Street, and a line 180 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Kilbourn Avenue, from Local Business (LB2) and Multi-Family Residential (RM4), (RM5) and (RM7) to Two-Family Residential (RT4);

Section 295-501.4(b).0001. The zoning map is amended for the area bounded and described as follows:
The zoning line within West State Street, a line 96 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 15th Street, a line 115 feet North and parallel to the north line of West State Street, and a line 156 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 15th Street, from Local Business (LB2) to Residential and Office (RO2).
