This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital purpose subaccounts; and, be it
Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that a variance is authorized from the procedures of File Number 881665, being the Administrative Rules for the Capital Improvements Process, and hereby directs the City Comptroller to make a supplemental appropriation of $35,000 in the Developer Out-of-Program Capital Purpose Account (42-641---301-0001) with offsetting revenues in Water Estimated Revenue (42-641---301-9003); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is hereby authorized to make the necessary funding and accounting entries, including increasing the Milwaukee Water Works' Developer Out-of-Program Capital Purpose Account and offsetting revenues to appropriately reflect the intent of this action and assure adequate cost recovery.
