Passage of this ordinance will place existing residential and commercial property in a zoning category that reflects its current use.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is hereby added to the Milwaukee Code a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-130(10).0021. The zoning map is hereby amended so as to change the zoning for the area bounded and described as follows:
 
Commencing at the point of intersection of the west line of South 31st Street and the north line of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 36, T7N, R21E; thence Westerly along the north line of said 1/4 section 296 feet more or less to the northeast corner of Lot 2, Block 1, in Black, Shea, & Dahlman's Subdivision, said point also being the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence Southerly along the east line of said Lot 2 and southerly extension thereof to a point on the centerline of West Pierce Street; thence Westerly along the centerline of West Pierce Street 90.00 feet to a point on a southerly extension of the west line of Lot 4 in said subdivision; thence Northerly along the west line of said Lot 4 and southerly extension thereof to the northwest corner of said Lot 4; said point being 129.00 feet north of the north line of West Pierce Street; thence Easterly and parallel to West Pierce Street 90.00 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 2 and the point of beginning from Manufacturing (M/B/85) to Multi-Family Residence (R/D/40).
 
Also to change the zoning for the area bounded and described as follows:
 
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 6, in Block 1, in Black, Shea, & Dahlman's Subdivision; thence Southerly along the east line of said Lot 6 to a point on the centerline of West Pierce Street; thence Westerly along the centerline of West Pierce Street 150.00 feet to a point on a southerly extension of the west line of Lot 10, in Block 1, in said subdivision; thence Northerly along the west line of said Lot 10 and southerly extension thereof to a point 129.00 feet north of the north line of West Pierce Street; said point also being the northwest corner of said Lot 10; thence Easterly and parallel to West Pierce Street 150.00 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 6 and the point of beginning from Manufacturing (M/B/85) to Multi-Family Residence (R/D/40).
 
Part 2. There is hereby added to the Milwaukee Code a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-320(8).0042. The zoning map is hereby amended so as to change the zoning for the area bounded and described as follows:
 
Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 4 in Resub. of Berninger Park, a recorded subdivision in the Northeast 1/4 and Southeast 1/4 of Section 36, T7N, R21E; thence Northerly along the west line of Lot 4 and northerly extension thereof 160.41 feet to a point on the centerline of an alley; thence Northeasterly along the centerline of said alley to a point on a northerly extension of the east line of said Lot 4; thence Southerly along the east line of said Lot 4 and northerly and southerly extensions thereof to a point on the centerline of West Pierce Street; thence Westerly along the centerline of West Pierce Street to a point on a southerly extension of the west line of said Lot 4; thence Northerly along said extension to the southwest corner of said Lot 4 and the point of beginning from Manufacturing (M/B/85) to Local Business (L/D/40).
 
Also to change the zoning for the area bounded and described as follows:
 
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 5, Block 1, in Black, Shea, & Dahlman's Subdivision; thence Southerly along the east line of said Lot 5 and southerly extension thereof to a point on the centerline of West Pierce Street; thence Westerly along the centerline of West Pierce Street 30.00 feet to a point on a southerly extension of the west line of said Lot 5; thence Northerly along the west line of said Lot 5 and southerly extension thereof to the northwest corner of said Lot 5; thence Easterly along the north line of said Lot 5 to the northeast corner of said Lot 5 and to the point of commencement from Manufacturing (M/B/85) to Local Business (L/D/40).
