ANLS:
This resolution amends Common Council File 990560 relative to application, acceptance and funding of the Pilot Ordinance Evaluation Grant. The purpose of the grant is to evaluate the feasibility, costs and effectiveness of the Pilot Project for Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control in residential property. .
BODY:
Whereas, Common Council File 990560 authorized the Health Department to apply for, accept and fund the Pilot Ordinance Evaluation Grant from the Batelle Organization for the purpose of evaluating the feasibility, costs and effectiveness of the Pilot Project for Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control in residential property. This grant provided for a Grantor share total of $14,558; and
Whereas, The Grantor share for this program is increased by $427,934; now, therefore be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that application to the Batelle Organization is authorized and the Health Department shall accept such a grant without further Common Council approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Common Council File 940843 (Grant Ordinance); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to commit funds within Project/Grant Parent 1999 Special Revenue Grant and Aid Projects fund, the following amount for the project titled Pilot Ordinance Evaluation Grant:
