Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Forest Home Avenue from South 26th Street to West Hayes Avenue from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On North 5th Street from West State Street to West Walnut Street at any time"
"On North 6th Street from West Clybourn Street to West Kilbourn Avenue from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM except Sunday and holidays"
"On South 3rd Street from West Greenfield Avenue to West Madison Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east and west sides of South 5th Street from the south curb line of West Florida Street to a point 70 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the east side of South 6th Street, from a point 175 feet north of the north curb line of West McKinley Avenue to a point 65 feet further north at any time"
"On West Wells Street from North 9th Street to North 11th Street"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On West Wells Street from North 10th Street to North 11th Street
On the north side of West National Avenue from South 20th Street to a point 50 feet east at any time
On the south side of West National Avenue from South 20th Street to a point 70 feet west at any time
On the north side of West Custer Avenue from North Sherman Boulevard to North 51st Street from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
On the north side of West Armour Avenue from a point 650 feet west of South 6th Street to a point 200 feet further west at any time
On the east side of South 15th Place from West Burnham Street to West Mitchell Street at any time
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 3rd Street from West Clybourn Street to the alley south"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On South 4th Street from West Walker Street to West National Avenue"
"On the east side of North 3rd Street from a point 25 feet north of the safety island north of West Chambers Street to West Burleigh Street"
"On North 2nd Street from West North Avenue to West Burleigh Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Wells Street from North 9th Street to North 10th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 6. Section 101-23-6 of the Code relating to Angle Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 15th Place from West Burnham Street to West Mitchell Street
Part 7. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of South 15th Place from West Lapham Boulevard to West Burnham Street"
Part 8. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 15th Place from West Lapham Boulevard to West Mitchell Street
Part 9. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Wells Street from North 9th Street to North 10th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
