Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts
of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 21st Street from West Abbott Avenue to a point 435 feet north on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Except Buses
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the west side of North 55th Street from West Burleigh Street to West Auer Avenue from 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM”
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North 55th Street from West Burleigh Street to West Auer Avenue from 2:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to Half-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On North Broadway from the north curb line of east Buffalo Street to a point 125 feet north thereof from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Sunday”
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On North Broadway from East Buffalo to East Detroit Streets, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM”
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Broadway from East St Paul Avenue to a point 175 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
On the east side of North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to a point 88 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of South 13th Street from West Layton Avenue to West Armour Avenue from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the west side of South 13th Street from the north curb line of West Van Norman Avenue to a point 145 feet north thereof from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday (13th Ward)”
“On the west side of South 13th Street from West Whitaker Avenue to West Van Norman Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the west side of South 13th Street from West Armour Avenue to West Layton Avenue from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”
“On South 36th Street from West Wheelhouse Road to West Milwaukee Road one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events”
“On West Roundhouse Road from South 33rd Court to West Canal Street one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events”
“On West Milwaukee Road from West Canal Street to Selig Drive (private road) one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events”
“On North Broadway from East St. Paul Avenue to east Menomonee Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM”
Part 8. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side South 35th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Montana Street from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday
On the east side South 36th Street from West Wheelhouse Road to West Milwaukee Road one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events
On the west side South 36th Street from a point 120 feet north of West Milwaukee Road to West Wheelhouse Road one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events
On the north side of West Roundhouse Road from South 33rd Court to West Canal Street one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events
On the south side of West Roundhouse Road from South 33rd Court to a point 320 feet west one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events
On the north side of West Milwaukee Road from West Canal Street to South 36th Street one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events
On the north side of West Milwaukee Road from a point 200 feet west of South 36th Street to Selig Drive (private road) one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events
On the south side of West Milwaukee Road from West Canal Street to Selig Drive (private road) one-hour before to one-hour after stadium events
On the North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to East Menomonee Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
On the west side of North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to East St Paul Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
On the south side of East Kilbourn Avenue from North Van Buren Street to North Cass Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 9. Section 101-23-4-h of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On East Kilbourn Avenue from North Jackson Street to North Cass Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday”
Part 10. Section 101-23-4-h of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of East Kilbourn Avenue from North Jackson Street to North Cass Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of East Kilbourn Avenue from North Jackson Street to North Van Buren Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 11. Section 101-23-6 of the Code relating to Angle Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to a point 80 feet north thereof”
“On the west side of North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to a point 120 feet north thereof”
Part 12. Section 101-23-6 of the Code relating to Angle Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to East St Paul Avenue
Part 13. Section 101-23-8-c of the Code relating to Taxi Stands is amended by striking the following:
“No. 54 on the east side of North 7th Street from the north curb line of West Michigan Street 60 feet north thereof from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday (2 cabs)”
Part 14. Section 101-32-3-c-2 of the Code relating to One-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Broadway from East St Paul Avenue to a point 175 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

Part 17. Section 101-32-3-f-4 of the Code relating to Five-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North James Lovell Street from West Michigan Street to a point 300 feet north
Part 18. Section 101-32-3-g-4 of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On East Kilbourn Avenue from North Jackson Street to North Cass Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday”
Part 19. Section 101-32-3-g-4 of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of East Kilbourn Avenue from North Jackson Street to North Cass Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On the south side of East Kilbourn Avenue from North Jackson Street to North Van Buren Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
