Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts

of  the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North 30^th Place from a point 90 feet north of West St Paul Avenue to the first east/west alley north

On West Burnham Street from South 13^th Street to South 14^th Street, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North 30^th Place from a point 90 feet north of West St Paul Avenue to the first east/west alley north”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On West Burnham Street from South 13^th Street to South 14^th Street

On the south side of West Winnebago Street from North 9^th Street to a point 75 feet west

In the alley bounded by West Burnham Street, West Rogers Street, South 23^rd Street and South 24^th Street

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On West Burnham Street from South 13^th Street to South 14^th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00PM Saturday”

Part 5.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On South 18^th Street from East Euclid Avenue to West Oklahoma Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday”

“On South 19^th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

“On North 85^th Street from a point 120 feet north of West Capitol Drive to West Fiebrantz Avenue from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

“On West Dakota Street from South 34^th Street to South 35^th Street”

“On the east side of North 50^th Street from the first east-west alley north of West State Street to West Juneau Avenue except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the west side of North 50^th Street from the first east-west alley north of West State Street to West Juneau Avenue except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the west side of South Layton Boulevard from West Evergreen Lane to West Pierce Street, except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays”

Part 6.  Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:

“On the south side of East Bennett Avenue from South Delaware Avenue to South Superior Street”

Part 7.  Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by adding the following:

On the south side of East Bennett Avenue from South Delaware Avenue to South Wentworth Avenue

Part 8.  Section 101-23-10-c of the Code relating to Alternate Monthly No Parking During Winter Months is amended by adding the following:

On East Bennett Avenue from South Wentworth Avenue to South Superior Street

Part 9.  Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North 30^th Place from a point 90 feet north of West St Paul Avenue to the first east/west alley north

On West Burnham Street from South 13^th Street to South 14^th Street

Part 10.  Section 101-26-5-1-b of the Code relating to Snow Parking Regulations - Four or More Inches is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South 24^th Street from West Orchard Street to West Lapham Street

Part 11.  Section 101-26-5-1-b of the Code relating to Snow Parking Regulations - Four or More Inches is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of South 24^th Street from West Orchard Street to West Lapham Street

Part 12.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:

On South 21^st Street from West Burnham Street to West Rogers Streeet

Part 13.  Section 101-32-3-c-2 of the Code relating to One-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On West Burnham Street from South 13^th Street to South 14^th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday”
