A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements

in various parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 101-9-1 of the code Prohibited Pedestrian Crossings is amended by adding the following:

The north crosswalk at the south intersection of West Congress Street and North Sherman Boulevard

The east and southeast crosswalks at East Clybourn Street, North Milwaukee Street, and the I-794 off-ramp

Part 2. Section 101-11-1 of the code relating to No Left Turns is amended by adding the following:

On West Blue Mound Road at North 107^th Street for Eastbound traffic from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

Part 3. Section 101-13-8 of the code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by adding the following:

On North Humboldt Boulevard from East Wright Street to East Center Street

On East/West Locust Street from North Palmer Street to North 2^nd Street

Part 4. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:

"On North 53^rd Street at West Garfield Avenue"

"On North 54^th Street at West Garfield Avenue"

Part 5.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by striking the following:

"On West Orchard Street at South 25^th Street"

"On South Quincy Avenue and East Montana Street in all directions"

Part 6.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:

On North 54^th Street at West Garfield Avenue northbound

On West Van Beck Avenue at South 72^nd Street

On East Montana Street at South Quincy Avenue

On West Medford Avenue and West Armitage Avenue in all directions

On West Medford Avenue and West Baldwin Street in all directions

On West Lawn Avenue and North 90^th Street in all directions

On West Rohr Avenue and North 90^th Street in all directions

On West Custer Avenue and North 90^th Street in all directions

On West Garfield Avenue and North 53^rd Street in all directions

On West Orchard Street and South 25^th Street in all directions

Part 7. Section 101-16-2 of the Code relating to Through Highways is amended by striking the following:

"On West Medford Avenue from the north line of West Congress Street to the east line of North 68^th Street"

Part 8. Section 101-16-2 of the Code relating to Through Highways is amended by adding the following:

On West Medford Avenue from the north line of West Congress Street to the south line of West Baldwin Street

On West Medford Avenue from the north line of West Armitage Avenue to the east line of North 68^th Street

Part 9. Section 101-22-2 of the Code relating to One Way Alleys is amended by adding the following:

In the alley bounded by West State Street, West Highland Avenue, North 16^th Street, and North 17^th Street Westbound
