Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic

Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements

in various parts of  the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain

as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of South 13^th Street from West Maple Street to West Burnham Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday

On West Burnham Street from South 13^th Street to South 15^th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday

On South 14^th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Burnham Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of West Potawatomi Circle (west roadway) from a point 300 feet south of West Canal Street to a point 350 feet south thereof

On the east side of South Kinnickinnic Avenue from East Oklahoma Avenue to a point 60 feet north

On the south side of West State Street from a point 190 feet east of the North 14^th Street to a point 30 feet east thereof

On the north side of West Elgin Lane from South 12^th Street to South 15^th Street

On the west side of North 57^th Street from West North Avenue to West Meinecke Avenue from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM

On the north side of West Clybourn Street from North 6^th Street to North James Lovell Street

Part 3.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

"On North 29^th Street from West Concordia Avenue to West Townsend Street"

"On North 36^th Street between West Burleigh Street and West Auer Avenue"

"On North 37^th Street from West Concordia Avenue to West Townsend Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday"

"On the north side of West Clybourn Street from North 6^th Street to North James Lovell Street from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday"

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of South Water Street from South Barclay Street to a point 230 feet south

On the east side of South Water Street from East Pittsburgh Avenue to a point 200 feet north

On the north side of East Pittsburgh Avenue from South Barclay Street to a point 150 feet east

On the east side of South Barclay Street from East Pittsburgh Avenue to a point 90 feet north

On the south side of East Seeboth Street from South 1^st Street to South Barclay Street

Part 5. Section 101-23-3-4-e of the Code relating to Three-Hour Parking by striking the following:

"On West Martin Drive from West Highland Boulevard to West Juneau Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday & Sunday"

Part 6. Section 101-23-3-4-e of the Code relating to Three-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the south side of West Martin Drive from West Highland Boulevard to West Juneau Avenue

On the west side of North Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Drive from West Garfield Avenue to West North Avenue

Part 7. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:

"On the north side of West Elgin Lane from South 12^th Street to South 15^th Street"

Part 8. Section 101-24-2 of the Code relating to Tow Away Zone is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of South 13^th Street from West Maple Street to West Burnham Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday

On West Burnham Street from South 13^th Street to South 15^th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday

On South 14^th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Burnham Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Part 9. Section 101-26.7 of the Code relating to Street Sweeping is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South Graham Street from East Wilson Street to East Homer Street from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the 2^nd Wednesday of each month from April 1 to November 1

On the west side of South Graham Street from East Wilson Street to East Homer Street from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the 4^th Wednesday of each month from April 1 to November 1

Part 10.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:

On South 5^th Street from West Becher Street to West Grant Street

On South 17^th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Windlake Avenue

Part 11.  Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exception is amended by adding the following:

On East Knapp Street from North Water Street to North Broadway

Part 12.  Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:

"On the north side of West Clybourn Street from North 6^th Street to North James Lovell Street"
