Title
Resolution providing for continuance of deferred payment of assessments for worthy indigent resident property owners, and appropriating funds for this purpose with the 2024 City cost to be $565.25 with a ten year total of the deferred properties being $7,390.52.
Analysis
This resolution grants continuation of deferred payment of certain special assessments and directs the current years’ installments to be paid. The 2024 City cost to be $565.25 with a ten year total of the deferred properties being $7,390.52.

Whereas, The Common Council previously confirmed certain resident property owners as Worthy Indigents; and
Whereas, the following applications were reviewed and qualify:

Whereas, the annual application review of the resident owners has been completed for the owners confirmed in prior years; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that after January 10, 2025, and upon receipt of the tax bills for the listed properties from the City Treasurer, the Department of Public Works shall process necessary documents to have checks issued by the City Comptroller to the City Treasurer in the amount listed to pay the 2024 special assessment installments so indicated for confirmed Worthy Indigent resident property owners:

Further Resolved, That a copy of this resolution be furnished to the City Comptroller and the City Treasurer;
