Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, real estate acquisition, and construction of West Appleton Avenue (STH 175) from West Burleigh Street to STH 181. The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 75 percent Federal and State aid and 25 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. mThe revised total estimated cost of this project is $7,085,000 with a grantor share of $6,545,025 and a City share of $539,975. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer additional funds for preliminary engineering at an estimated cost of $150,000 with an estimated City share of $37,500 and a grantor share of $112,500. Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.
