COMPOSITION: Eleven members, appointed by the Mayor. Two seats are reserved for active members of two park associations who serve one-year terms on a rotating basis. All other members serve three-year terms. Appointments to this body do not require Common Council confirmation.

A member continues to serve after the completion of his or her term until reappointed or until a successor has been appointed.
