PURPOSE: The purpose of the Outstanding Debt Work Group is to evaluate and make recommendations for improving the City’s policies and practices for collecting delinquent taxes, forfeitures, judgments and fees owed the City.
COMPOSITION: 13 Members:
1. Three members appointed by the Common Council President.
2. The Mayor or the Mayor's designee.
3. The City Comptroller or the Comptroller's designee.
4. The City Treasurer or the Treasurer's designee.
5. The City Attorney or the Attorney's designee.
6. The Presiding Judge of the Municipal Court or the Judge's designee.
7. The Chief of Police or the Chief's designee.
8. The Fire Chief or the Chief’s designee.
9. The Director of Administration or the Director's designee.
10. The Commissioner of Public Works or the Commissioner's designee.
11. The Commissioner of Neighborhood Services or the Commissioner's designee.
