Honorable Members of the Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development Committee,

I am writing this letter as a resident of Prospect Avenue. 

I strongly oppose the proposed development at 1550 N. Prospect.  I request the committee to reject 
the change in zoning to a new Detailed Planned Development for a multi-family residential 
development at 1550 North Prospect Ave.  

*        The proposal as is simply TOO LARGE for the property it will be built on.  
*        The proposed building is  TOO CLOSE to the adjoining properties and will not add in any way to 
the skyline of the city.  I believe it will resemble the closeness of the University Club Tower to 
the Kilbourn Tower which is not appealing.   
*        It would be setting a very bad precedent to allow a FOUR story above ground parking structure 
on Prospect Avenue.  
*        There is also the obvious concern about the lack of parking for the number of residents.  There 
is no turnaround for moving trucks which will have to be parked outside alongside the 
streetcar.  

If the city would like another high rise apartment building then they should recommend the developer 
find a suitable property to build the building on.
