Good morning President Hamilton and Common Council members,


As a committed leader in the union construction industry that represents both labor and 
management, I understand the importance strong relationships play in construction and 
development. That being said, I’d like to express my support of Rocky Marcoux as Milwaukee’s 
Department of City Development Commissioner. 

Through the support and assistance of Rocky, there is an unprecedented amount of 
development finally moving forward in the City, which is putting my members back to work 
after a significant recession. We see every day how Rocky’s efforts to transform our city are 
creating a community that Milwaukee can be proud of, while also providing family-supporting 
jobs to its residents.

Along with the leadership of the Common Council, Rocky has been a great partner as I continue 
to meet with developers from all over the country who are interested in investing in all parts of 
our city. I humbly ask that the Common Council approves his reappointment so we can 
continue on with the progress being made in Milwaukee.
