Chairman Bohl,

It is my understanding that your committee will be considering the proposed Bucks arena at your 
meeting tomorrow morning.

While I don’t have problems with the general design of the arena, I do feel that the current proposal 
does not do enough to activate the surrounding streets. The foreboding concrete base of the arena is 
unattractive and presents a blown opportunity to encourage sidewalk traffic in this area even when 
there isn’t an event taking place at the arena. 

I encourage your committee to work with the applicants to devise creative ways to mitigate the bland 
and unappealing “curb appeal” of the arena.
