Housing infrastructure Preservation Fund
Dear Zoning Committee Members,
I urge you to support Alderman Bauman’s substitute to the
mayors proposed legislation that would cap expenditures for any project
undertaken by the housing infrastructure Preservation Fund at $50,000.
Also please support the amendment to increase the 2014 funding for
the same program from $300,000 to $600,000. My other thoughts should
be recorded from the public hearing on the Mayors Budget.
Thank you for your consideration of this important funding to
preserve our current historic housing stock and maintain home values in
Milwaukee’s neighborhoods.
