Jim and Willie,

Here is the email from the neighborhood group re: items 8 and 9 on your agenda.

I am in the office now and will come up for those items if they happen sometime soon…

Nik

Alderman Nik,

Thank you and members of the City Plan Commission for considering our input.  With the removal of the proposed zoning change to LB3 north of Thomas Ave., the members of Greenwich Ave. Association are supportive of the LB3 rezoning for North Ave. and environs.  We're not seeking a neighborhood meeting on the matter.

If you'd like to discuss how we can work together to facilitate neighborhood input on future neighborhood matters, please let me know.  For example, we seem to agree that the block north of Thomas Ave. might be a candidate for redevelopment in the near future and it would be worthwhile to talk about what that development could and should look like.

In other matters, notices of public hearing arrived in my mail box for license renewals for three taverns on North Ave. that sponsor the stumble events.  The public hearing is on Fri, Jun 1 at 9:00 a.m.  I hope we can talk before the meeting.

Sincerely,

Mike M., Facilitator, Greenwich Village Association
