I have attempted to respond professionally and precisely. Apparently that is not sufficient. You declined and then sent a ridiculous email that at a minimum had at least 3 incorrect statements. You are a bully and business killer. I live in the building that you are not waiting two years as required before you strong arm us once again to your will about this designation. If this goes through our intent is to board up the building and move our employees and business to the suburbs. It is interesting that you refuse to meet with the parties that this affects but instead choose a clandestine approach. If you thought this was such a benefit to us you would have gladly met with all of us owners. Your email indicates this does not put a burden on us yet I watched for at least 45 minutes at the meeting on Monday while you declined a simple request for solar panels on a roof. Your dis functional group is laughable. I will continue to post on Facebook all of this committees ridiculous antics. I doubt whether you ever even picked up the phone to discuss with Berrada Properties the issues you have with the investments they have made. Instead you piss 6 more constituents off without the honor of a meeting. Berrada Properties I'm sure will never invest in your district again so you might as well start tearing down more buildings. I will spend the rest of my time in this city posting pictures of all the buidlings that are being neglected due to historic designation in the Garden Homes District and Sherman Blvd. You have done nothing in our area that contributes to a neighborhood. No groceries, no gas, no restaurants and of course the liquor store that you closed that would make this neighborhood walkable. After taking over our building in 2014 you have never once shown any interest in the fact that we saved this building. I believe it sat empty for 12 years. And once you chase us out it I'm sure will be empty for another 12 years. Historical designation means nothing when the roof is caving in. Thank you for destroying investors that have renovated over 500 houses in this city. We'll take our money somewhere else.
