Learn why this is important Good Morning, I understand there will be a meeting regarding changes to the Frederick J. Goll House. As the representative for 1560 N Prospect Ave, I’d just like to voice a concern. Our concern is that they have not maintained the building well for the last few years. We can only assume the interior is as badly maintained as the exterior. For them to be allowed adjustments, is likely due to their intentional disregard for the building to date. We, as the neighbor are already stressed out about the potential movement of the Goll Mansion, regarding a retaining wall that likely sits on our property line. Any deterioration or change to this wall would directly impact our only access to the parking garage attached to our building, over the bluff. It could also potentially harm any chance of moving the building itself, as there would be nothing holding up the North side grounds around the building. We believe an engineering survey and environmental survey should be conducted and published for public access. I cannot imagine this bluff will withstand such a movement, plus foundation building.
