It is possible to reuse the historic buildings in connection with new construction. It is possible to add penthouses or additions to historic buildings as has been done (mostly successfully) in the Third Ward. The Marine Terminal Lofts is a good example.

As a resident of the 3rd ward and president of my condo assiciation and more importantly someone who votes for you, i am writing to let you know i am opposed to the proposed demolition of historic buildings. Please vote against the proposed demolition at Wisconsin & Broadway.
