With three to four hundred new residents, the 1.2 parking spaces per unit (including visitor parking) is a disaster in waiting for an already overtaxed parking and traffic situation. This is especially true given the new Mandel development down the street (which I understand has already received zoning approval), the possible streetcar route down Prospect and the fact that the driveway of the new building cannot accommodate moving vans. As a life-long Milwaukee resident, I am elated and excited about all the new projects downtown. However, there are some instances where the effect on quality of life is so profound, so-called "progress" must take a back seat. This, I fear, is one of those cases. Thank you kindly for your consideration of this matter. Sincerely, Gary E. Lakritz 1522 N Prospect Ave. #605 Milwaukee, WI 53202
