We want to thank all of you for striving to make the proposed office building at 2601 W. Wisconsin Avenue all that it can be. It's our understanding that the building's proposed design and materials have undergone several improvements, subsequent to the concerns expressed in letters of opposition placed in this item's file. We're also pleased that the possibility exists to incorporate an aesthetically pleasing bus shelter.

 

Exterior spatial opportunities also exist that would lend themselves to the placement of outdoor sculptures/art and our offer to assist with such elements predates this specific proposal. We have worked with the SOHI (former Main Street) Design Committee in developing possible visual enhancements for all of 27th Street and view this property as the first step in a better and stronger corridor.

 

We believe that the building's revisions, when combined with the required landscaping, will create a building of substance and appeal. Thank you for your concern; we hope you will view the building proposal favorably.
