Minutes note: -Updates on Projects
Ms. Morris stated that the West Side Arts, New State mural project submitted an updated budget for $11,310, with $8,400 being labor and materials. Ms. Layden moved to approve the revised budget, seconded by Ms. Klose. There were no objections.
Ms. Morris stated she got an email about changing the images on the murals at Heartlove Place. She stated that they had a community meeting and would like to showcase art of artists in the immediate community.
Ms. Morris stated Terri Grote has been working with awardees to get final reports and outstanding budgets submitted.
-2021 Cycle Options; Draft Letter to Department Heads
Mr. Murphy and Ms. Morris stated they have talked to people about art residencies. Ms. Morris stated there may need to be a MOU between the Arts Board and the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee.
