Minutes note: Appearing: Mayra Alaniz - CDGA Staff Youth Council unanimously agreed to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for youth services on mental health. Ms. Alaniz said that the Department of Administration although still waiting for the final amount to be allocated for youth services, they will be preparing the Request for Proposal to present before the Youth Council.

     5. Discussion regarding possible Question, Persuade, Refer training session.

Minutes note: MHD - Vaynesia Kendrix - Community Outreach Ms. Kendrix presented the youth council with an opportunity for a virtual Question, Persuade and Refer training. QPR is a suicide-based training that gives the tools and resources to use in the event of being approached or in the presence of someone that is suicidal. How to ask the question around suicide. Help individual recognize their need for help. Identify sources to persuade them to receive the help. In terms of coordination and logistics for this training to occur, Mr. Owczarski and Ms. McHenry will coordinate these efforts.
