Ms. Alaniz reviewed the allocation and topics selected on the 2019; She discussed the key points to keep in mind when selecting the agencies and programs to consider for allocation, based on the Youth Council priorities.
Projected 2020 Timeline (dates are subject to change):
3/11 Meeting: Brief Recap of CDBG funding, Brief Recap of topics selected last year and projects/organizations funded, begin to brainstorm topics
3/25 Meeting: Continue topic brainstorm
4/10 Meeting: Continue topic brainstorm and/or vote on final topic, explanation of next steps
Prepare RFP, Send for YC feedback/approval
Define Funding Allocation Amount
4/24 Meeting: RFP Review/Questions, Disclose Funding Allocation amount, explanation of next steps
