Mr. Mahan explained that the city of Milwaukee received Housing Urban Development funds from the Federal government to assist low income individuals, such as housing and other services needed in low income areas. The Youth Council is charge to allocate 10% of reprogramming funds. The 2018 allocation for youth council is $46,000.00.
There will be a SPECIAL Youth Council meeting on May 16, 2018 to select categories to be considered.
