   2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes

Minutes note: Ms. McSweeney moved approval, seconded by Mr. Murphy. There were no objections.

   3. Conservation Fund

Minutes note: - Friends of Juneau Park Application Ms. Morris stated an application was received for the restoration the statues of Solomon Juneau and Leif the Explorer. The project will cost approximately $135,000, including scafolding. They have already received $2,500 from the Antiquarian Society. Ms. Morris moved, seconded by Ms. McSweeney to fund the project at $4,436 and with funds becoming available after the fundraising goal is reached. There were no objections. - Wisconsin Black Historical Society Application Clayborn Benson, Executive Director of the Black Historical Society presented his application for "The Gift" by George Gist. The mural is expected to be completed by October 15th. Ms. Morris moved, seconded by Ms. Layden to fund at $5,000, the conservation of the wall where the mural will be created. There were no objections. - Updates on Projects Ms. Layden stated the (Re)Housing the American Dream gallery guide is in process and will be available October 6th. Ms. Morris stated the George Washington statue is currently being conserved.

Minutes note: - Wisconsin Black Historical Society Clayborn Benson, Executive Director of the Black Historical Society Ms. Morris moved, seconded by Ms. Layden to fund at $250 the creation of the mural "The Gift". There were no objections. - Updates on Projects Ms. Witte stated Black Cat Alley is having their opening this weekend.
