| | 2. | | Conservation Fund: Review of Proposals
Minutes note: Ms. Morris indicated that the two sculpture projects from the Westown Association are large enough to be considered individually. Each could be funded with $5,000 individually. She stated someone should reach out to the association to ensure they are in communication with the Department of Public Works.
Ms. McSweeney moved to recommend to the full Milwaukee Arts Board that $10,000 be funded to the Westown Association for the Court of Honor projects. There were no objections.

| | 3. | | New Work Fund: Review of Proposals
Minutes note: Ms Layden stated the Alive MKE proposal wouldn't apply to the New Work Fund, but the organization could apply for a project grant. Ms. Morris agreed, stating that the project was not for a public space, but for an exhibit in a museum. It is therefore outside of the parameters of what the Board can fund. Ms. Klose moved, seconded by Ms. Layden, to not consider the proposal. Ms. Witte could contact the organization to determine if they are eligible to apply for a project grant.
Ms. Morris stated the Temporary Resurfacing 2015 proposal requests funds to pay artists and rent equipment for this year's project. She requests that the applicant come give a presentation. She would like to know about the organization's artist selection process, types of artists, and the submission process. A special meeting could be held March 9 or March 11. Ms. Morris will contact the applicants regarding what should be included in the presentation.
