Analysis
This ordinance provides that grounds for denial, non-renewal, revocation or suspension of a home improvement contractor or salesperson license shall include any failure of the licensee to complete work on a project in accordance with the contractual written specifications for the work or within the time period specified in the contract or agreement for the work.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 95-14-7-c-1-h of the code is renumbered 95-14-7-c-1-i.

Part 2. Section 95-14-7-c-1-h of the code is created to read:

95-14. Home Improvement Contractor and Salesperson Licenses.

7. COMMITTEE ACTION.

c. Recommendations.

c-1-h. Any failure of the licensee to complete work on a project in accordance with contractual written specifications for the work or to complete the work within the time period specified in the contract or agreement.

Part 3. Section 95-14-9-d-7 of the code is renumbered 95-14-9-d-8.

Part 4. Section 95-14-9-d-7 of the code is created to read:

9. PROCEDURES FOR NON-RENEWAL, REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION OF LICENSE.

d. Grounds for Non-renewal, Revocation or Suspension.

d-7. Any failure of the licensee to complete work on a project in accordance with the contractual written specifications for the work set forth pursuant to sub. 12-c-1 and 2, or to complete the work within the time period specified in the contract or agreement for the work pursuant to sub. 12-c-4.
