Body
Whereas, The plaintiff, Robert Braun, has filed a lawsuit against the City of Milwaukee, Mayor Tom Barrett, Chief Edward Flynn, FPC Director Michael Tobin, Police Officer Mark Wagner, Police Officer Daniel Faredy, and Police Officer Jeanne See; and
Whereas, The plaintiff has agreed to settle the lawsuit in the amount of $25,000; and
Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to settle this lawsuit; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper city officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a check in the amount of $25,000, payable to Robert Braun, in full and final settlement of said lawsuit, said check to be delivered to the City Attorney upon his request, said amount to be charged to the Damages and Claims Fund, Account No. 636505, Fund No. 0001, Organization No. 1490, Program No. 2632, Sub Class No. S118.
