Analysis

This ordinance, effective with the 2012 spring primary election, changes the number of aldermanic districts from 15 to 13.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. Section 301-2.5 of the code is created to read:

 

301-2.5.  New Aldermanic District Boundaries.  Effective with the 2012 spring primary election, the territory included within the limits of the city of Milwaukee shall be divided into 13 aldermanic districts.
