Title
A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Two-Family Residential to Detailed Planned Development, and the First Amendment to a Detailed Planned Development known as Olga Village, on lands located North of West Washington Street and West of South 7th Street, for development of a senior center, in the 12th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This zoning change will add the property located at 730 West Washington Street, currently zoned residential, to the DPD, and the amendment to the DPD will allow for the construction of a one-story, 9,600 square-foot senior center between the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee’s Olga Village building and the United Community Center’s US Bank Village building.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (“Common Council”), do ordain as follows:

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances (“Code”) a new section to read as follows:

Section 295-907(2)(c).0155.

(1) In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-907(2) of the Code relating to the procedures and establishment of planned development districts, the Common Council approves the subject amended Detailed Planned Development, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein.

(2) The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the properties at:

622 West Washington Street, Tax Key No. 432-1121-000
718 West Washington Street, Tax Key No. 432-1122-000
730 West Washington Street, Tax Key No. 432-0517-000
738 West Washington Street, Tax Key No. 432-1123-000

(3) The requirements set forth in said detailed plan attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A, constitute the zoning regulations for the area contained in such planned development district described, provided further, that the effect of the approval o...
