Title
Substitute resolution relating to the transfer of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 administration funding to other City Departments.
Analysis
This resolution would transfer a portion of the administration NSP2 funding from the Department of City Development to the Department of Neighborhood Services, and the Milwaukee Health Department.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee has previously approved the administration award to the Department of City Development (DCD) for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP2) in the amount of $1,980,000; and

Whereas, The DCD has notified the Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) of their administration needs totaling $1,600,000; and

Whereas, The Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS) has notified CDGA of their need for administration funding for the NSP2 program in the amount of $220,000; and

Whereas, The Health Department has also notified CDGA of their need for administration funding for the NSP2 program in the amount of $160,000; and

Whereas, The Community and Economic Development Committee recommends the transfer of a portion of the administration NSP2 funding from DCD to DNS in the amount of $220,000, and also a portion of administration NSP2 funding in the amount of $160,000 to the Health Department; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Community Developments Grants Administration is authorized to transfer $220,000 to DNS and $160,000 to the Health Department for administration funding for the NSP2 award; and, be it

Further Resolved, That DNS and the Health Department shall submit budgets and activity reports in the amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it
