Title
Resolution relating to the reporting deadline for the Community Intervention Task Force.
Analysis
This resolution amends Common Council Resolution File Number 210519, adopted on March 23, 2021, extending the deadline for the Community Intervention Task Force report to the Common Council from December 31, 2022 to January 31. 2023.

Body
Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 201519 on March 23, 2021, creating an MPD Diversion Task Force to develop a master plan for responding to calls for service that do not involve threats to public safety; and

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 210785 on December 14, 2021, amending File Number 201519 to change the name of the Task Force to the Community Intervention Task Force, and to extend the reporting deadline to April 30, 2022; and

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 211798 on March 22, 2022, amending File Number 201519 to extend the reporting deadline to July 31, 2022; and

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 220535 on July 28, 2022, amending File Number 201519 to:

1. Amend the 1st item in the list of items in the first “Further Resolved” clause to read:

“1. The Common Council member representing the 6th aldermanic district and two Common Council members appointed by the Common Council President.”

2. Amend the 4th item in the list of items in the first “Further Resolved” clause to read:

“4. The Director of Emergency Management.”

3. Add an 11th item to the list in the first “Further Resolved” clause to read:

“11. The Director of Emergency Communications.”

4. Extend the reporting deadline to December 31, 2022.
