Resolution authorizing the execution of a First Amendment to that certain purchase and sale agreement (6001 West Silver Spring Drive) by and between the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee and 3300, LLC providing for the sale of the commercial parcel located at 6001 West Silver Spring Drive.

Body
WHEREAS, Westlawn Gardens is generally situated to the south of West Silver Spring Drive between North 60th Street and North 68th Street and the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) is currently proceeding with redevelopment of Westlawn Gardens; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution R13215, adopted on March 11, 2021, the Commissioners of the Housing Authority approved the sale of 6001 West Silver Spring Drive to 3300, LLC (or Assigns) pursuant to that certain Purchase and Sale Agreement (6001 West Silver Spring Drive) with an effective date of April 2, 2022 (“Purchase and Sale Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, a First Amendment to Purchase and Sale Agreement amending the Purchase and Sale Agreement is on file with the Secretary; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Housing Authority desire to approve and authorize the execution of the First Amendment to Purchase and Sale Agreement in substantially the form on file with the Secretary with such minor non-substantive revisions as may be approved by the Secretary-Executive Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that the First Amendment to Purchase and Sale Agreement is hereby approved and the proper officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the First Amendment to Purchase and Sale Agreement in substantially the form on file with the Housing Authority or in such form and substance as may be approved by the Secretary-Executive Director; and be it
