Analysis
This Resolution also authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a Project Agreement with the WisDOT for rehabilitation of the 16th Street Viaduct over the Menomonee River and the South 72nd Culvert over the Honey Creek. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds for preliminary engineering for these projects. The estimated total cost of the projects is $15,212,980 with an estimated City share of $3,067,433 and a grantor share of $12,145,547. The estimated preliminary engineering costs for these projects are $1,828,812 with an estimated City share of $380,599 and a grantor share of $1,448,213. Construction funds for these projects will be included in future resolutions.

Whereas, A project agreement has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to be executed by the City of Milwaukee for the programming, design, and construction of the following bridge rehabilitations with Federal and State aid under the Local Bridge Program:
