Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works. The City cost of the projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $1,070,000. The total estimated cost of these projects is $1,415,000.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and

Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

8th Aldermanic District

35th Street Viaduct over the Menomonee River (BR100220106) File Number 211601: Repairs to existing bridge substructure and expansion joint at Pier 40. (City Share Non-assessable Structure Fund - additional funds $100,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $400,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

14th Aldermanic District and City of St. Francis

S. Alabama Ave. - E. St. Francis Ave. to W. Tripoli Ave. (WT410220626) File Number 201552: Relaying water main and lead replacement of service. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $0. Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $660,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $685,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
