Analysis
This resolution approves an agreement between the City and WI Civic Duty, Inc. for licensed use of Vote Movr Widget provided by PF Data, LLC. The widget will allow visitors of the City’s website to confirm or update their voter registration without having to leave the City’s website. Furthermore, the widget will allow the City to access voter registration status and capture entered data so that the Election Commission can measure success of implementation. In addition, the agreement entitles the City to any updates, revisions or upgrades of the services or the documentation provided by the Vote Movr Widget.

Whereas, WI Civic Duty, Inc. has agreed to licensed use of the Vote Movr Widget, provided by PF Data, LLC, by the City ; and
Whereas, The Vote Movr widget will allow visitors of the City’s website to confirm or update their voter registration without having to leave the City’s website; and
Whereas, The widget will allow the City to access voter registration status and capture entered data so that the Election Commission can measure success of implementation; and
Whereas, The agreement entitles the City to any updates, revisions or upgrades of the services or the documentation provided by the Vote Movr Widget; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council ratifies and approves the End User License Agreement between WI Civic Duty, Inc. and the City of Milwaukee, a copy of which is attached to this file; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are directed to execute the agreement to carry out this purpose.
